Description
General view of Houses and a Corner Shop at 15 Arbery Road, Bethnal Green, looking north-east. Adverts for Lyons Superbread and Brooke Bond Blended Tea, Lyons Tea. A name over the doorway may indicate the owner was licensed to sell alcohol. To the left are 42-54 Medhurst Road from left to right. In Medhurst Road beside an electricity distribution cabinet is Ford Cortina MkII motor car on the left and a ford Corsair with a Triumph Vitesse in front raised up on blocks with the rear offside wheel removed. Another Triumph is further down the road. These houses no longer exist and are replaced with new private housing development.
