View of the front elevations of 2-4 Bonner Road, Tower Hamlets looking east, at the junction with Bishop's Way and Russia Lane. The Maid Marion Food Store 'Your Local Larder', with The News of the World, Benson and Hedges cigarettes and R.Whites Lemonade advertised for sale. Number 2 Bonner Road used to be the Prince of Wales public house. The chimney stack of Bethnal Green Hospital also seen is in the background. This building still exists and is a local supermarket.
