Description
View of front doorway at 17 Buckhurst Street, Bethnal Green looking west. Approached up two steps a six panel wooden door with door knocker and bell push above, a pull handle below. Above the door is an elaborate transom window with radial glazing bars underneath arch soldier brick course. The mortar course appears to be repointed with sand and ordinary Portland cement and a render has been applied to the lower course to protect against frost damage. To the left is the doorway to a yard behind. This building no longer exists and is replaced with grassland around residential flats.
