Description
Battersea Town Hall, Town Hall Road, Battersea. Side elevation of a four-storey building. Railings run the length of the property. Steps and railings lead up to a side door. Four cars are parked in the street. Battersea Town Hall, designed by Edward Mountford and built between 1891-93 by the vestry of St Mary Battersea, was originally known as New Parochial Offices. After the local government moved to Wandsworth in 1965, it has been in use as an arts and community centre and is now known as Battersea Arts Centre, Lavender Hill. It is Grade II * listed, list entry number 1184293.
