Description
View of corner shops on Lovatt Place, Bermondsey. Outside, a group of school-aged children and two women wait for the photograph to be taken. One boy has a sack-barrow. One shop is a grocers with advertisements for Batey's Ginger Ale. The other shop sells selected butters. All buildings were demolished during construction of the Bermondsey Tunnel.
