Description
Hickman's Folly, Bermondsey, at the junction with Dockhead and Parker's Row. Side elevation of a three-storey building with a Post Office on the ground floor. Across the street is a four-storey round building with ground floor shops, which include W. Willison, newsagents. Pedestrians can be seen standing in the street. Hickman's Folly no longer exists; it used to run east out of the junction of Dockhead and Parker's Row. The area has been redeveloped and replaced by the Dickens Estate, the earliest buildings of which were built in 1929.
