Description
View of Avenue Mansions, Sisters Avenue, Battersea, looking north-west. Built in 1895 by Alfred Coomber, they dominate the frontage between Sisters Avenue and Marjorie Grove. Planned as two discrete but adjoining blocks, each contains eight flats. Their stock-brick exterior is enlivened by good-quality ironwork, and plentiful stucco ornament.
