Description
View of 91 St James’s Drive, Balham. Built c1871 and originally named Bentley House. Before the 1850s this area was undeveloped land, forming the southernmost reaches of Wandsworth Common. With the road improvements that began in the 1820s, the west side of St James's Drive became built up in the late 1860s.
