Description
View of 61-75 St Philip Street by Thackeray Road, Battersea. Part of the Park Town Estate, a development laid out from 1865 onwards, either side of Queenstown Road. Much of the street was built by the partners Robert Lacy and James Flexman in 1867. Numbers 41-63 on the square’s east side are believed to have been built by a developer with the surname Muspratt and still remain. Several parked cars and women with children and buggies are in view.
