View of manufacturing factories at 39-49 Dagnall Street, Battersea, looking north-east. Partial view of residential property at 37 Dagnall Street on the left with a galvanised steel dustbin outside the front entrance. The goods entrance for Paragon Industrial Overalls is next door at 39-40 Dagnall Street. Side elevation of the Orkney Works of Fryers of Battersea, makers of overalls to HM Government, with a clock affixed to the corner. To the right is number 33 Orkney Street at the corner and houses on Dagnall Street. Parked next to a cast iron lamp post is a Bedford A3 delivery van (registration OJJ 612) for J.T. Healey & Co. Ltd. famous for poultry & pigeon foods. A Morris 10-4 saloon and a Vauxhall Velox EIP saloon are also parked in the street. None of the buildings still exist and have been replaced with new housing, playgrounds and Chesterton Primary School.
