Description
[Panorama showing the Barbican after the Blitz]. Panorama comprising five individual photographs showing the Barbican area following the demolition of unsafe buildings in the summer of 1942. It seems to have been taken from a building in Little Moorfields. It extends from Coleman Street on the left to Chiswell Street on the right. Whitbread's Brewery can be seen on the right. St. Giles Cripplegate is in the centre of the panorama. From the Cross Collection. [See also record numbers 36616 - 36620]
