From Holborn Viaduct: Farringdon Avenue leading to Shoe Lane. View looking south west from Holborn Viaduct across the curve of Farringdon Avenue. Farringdon Avenue ran between Farringdon Street and Stonecutter Street to the east of Shoe Lane. The Fleet Building now stands on the site.
