Description
General Washington was owned by the lion tamer, Mr Carter, and was the tallest horse in the world at that time, measuring 20 hands in height (2 metres) and weighed 2500 pounds. The Egyptian Hall, was an exhibition hall in Piccadilly which became known as "England's Home of Mystery" due to its association with magic and spiritualism.
