Finsbury Health Centre is a 1930s Grade 1 Listed building, designed by Berthold Lubetkin and the Tecton group for the Borough of Finsbury. The Mayor of Finsbury at the time was Dr Chuni Lal Katial, a South Asian doctor, who championed the progressive public health philosophy adopted by the centre.
