Dunstable Road, in the Sheen Road conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames, is a cul-de-sac with housing comprising mostly late-Victorian two-storey semi-detached houses with adjoining flanking entrances of quite uniform appearance to the east side of the road. All are listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit. The west side is formed of the boundary walls, garages, and rear gates of the houses in Sydney Road. This view shows the pair at numbers 7-8 Dunstable Road. They are little altered externally apart from relandscaping of the front gardens and boundary walling and fencing, and number 8 now has a mature tree in its garden. A Mini Traveller is shown parked in the foreground and the front of Renault 4 is also part visible.
