Viewed from Hill Rise, the image shows from the left, 5-1 Petersham Road and 17-11 Hill Rise. Number 5 Petersham Road has an Italian restaurant, "Trattoria Le Lanterne" on the ground floor, and number 3 has three signs at ground floor level saying "MALVERN HOTEL". Above the top-floor windows of 3-1 Petersham Road is a small plaster lion motif. Numbers 17-11 Hill Rise are part of a terrace of eighteenth-century, three-storey buildings with dormers. They are Grade II listed, listing number 1357707. Number 17-15 Hill Rise, has signs above the ground floor saying "MAYFLOWER DINNER AND DANCING CHINESE RESTAURANT". The first floor is glazed across the whole frontage. Number 13 Hill Rise, is an antiques shop with a sign above the shopfront saying "J & T Lawson - Antiques - Anything Old Beautiful or Curious Bought". Some antique furniture can be seen in the shop. Number 11 Hill Rise has a sign saying "Rendezvous Restaurant" together with a logo for Coca-Cola. Street furniture includes road signs, bollards, railings and street lamps, including a nineteenth-century cast-iron lamp column with modern lighting attached. A parked car is in view. The buildings are still there with a mix of restaurants and cafes and the hotel has been renamed The Richmond Park Hotel. The buildings lie within the Richmond Hill Conservation Area.
