Chisholm Road, off Queens Road leading to Bishops Lodge and Bishops Gate (pedestrian), Richmond Park, lies within the Richmond Hill conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames. There are a number of two-storey mostly semi-detached mid-to-late nineteenth century houses of mixed style listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit. This view shows a pair of two-storey semi-detached houses at numbers 2 and 4 on the south side of the road. The exteriors appear to have been unaltered since, apart from a Velux windows to the attic and some replanting in the front gardens. There also appears to be some sagging visible to the first-floor window lintels and brick cornice, which is still apparent in current images.
