Cambrian Road, off Queens Road and providing a pedestrian gateway to Richmond Park, lies within the Richmond Hill conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames. There are a number of two- and three-storey mid-to-late nineteenth century houses of mixed style listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit. This view shows numbers 22 and 24, two of a stepped terrace of eight villas having three storeys and a basement, the exteriors of which appear to have no significant alterations other than removal of the central chimney stack and some renovation of the front boundary walls and entrance steps. Also in view is the rear of a Ford Cortina and a Ford Escort van belonging to 'Scotsman Ice Systems'.
