The Cottage in Brewery Lane, Twickenham, stood on the site of the railway sidings and St Mark's Nursery, adjacent to the former Twickenham Junction station, which used to be to the west of the London Road bridge across the railway lines. It is believed to have been demolished to make way for the Post Office sorting office, which in turn has been redeveloped as housing at Brewery Lane and Twickenham Wharf, and The Exchange theatre complex. This view is of the rear of the property looking eastwards. The building in the background to the left is part of Railway Cottages and to the right the Engine Shed, both of which survived the site redevelopment and remain listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit.
