Description
The Orchard, Hampstead Way, Temple Fortune. These buildings were originally designed as old people's flats by Parker and Unwin. They were redeveloped in 1970-74 to a more modern design by M. Darke, for the Orchard Housing Society. The image shows the west corner, a continuous two-storey block with full height brick gables, some weather boarded and with balconies.
