Description
Front elevation of the old Hounslow Town Hall (also known as the Council House), Treaty Road, Hounslow, a large three-storey building with a central bell tower. A row of cars are parked in the street. The Town Hall was opened together with the Hounslow Public Library and Hounslow Swimming Baths in the newly laid-out Treaty Road in 1905. In 1985, all the buildings and Treaty Road itself were demolished as work commenced on the redevelopment of the town centre; Treaty Shopping Centre now stands on the site.
