General view of the side and rear elevation of Harefield Post Office at 1 Northwood Road, Harefield. An early nineteenth century two-storey building. There is a lean-to shed at the rear with a single-storey extension to the main building. A white picket fence and large pond with bullrushes is visible in the foreground, and the main building is reflected in the pond. There is a Triumph Herald car parked near the lean-to.
