Description
View of Victoria Embankment, Westminster, looking north towards Cleopatra's Needle and showing two women and girls walking towards the camera in Edwardian summer attire. There is a good view of one of the 'dolphin' lamps and beyond is the Needle, erected in 1878 after travelling from Alexandria. The other one of the pair was sent to New York and erected in Central Park in 1881. A horse cart stands on the opposite side of the road.
