Description
A postcard view of Victoria Embankment, Westminster, towards Blackfriars Bridge taken from Waterloo Bridge, with St Paul's Cathedral seen indistinctly in the distance. The roofs below the bridge on the left are the River Police Station, now the RNLI Tower Lifeboat Station. Further along Temple Pier can be seen and a paddle steamer heads towards us, on the right. Pedestrians walk under the trees and the full effect of the 'Dolphin' lamp standards can be seen along the bank.
