Description
Room at 2-10 Tavistock Street, Covent Garden, now known as Hudson House. The room has a deep coved ceiling with a six-lamp chandelier in view. There are three desks, two of which have angle-poise lamps and one has two telephones. There is a large bookcase and some bookshelves. There are some chairs, a fireplace, a panelled door and a still-life painting. Built in 1905 as the headquarters of Country Life magazine, it was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens for the founder and chairman of Country Life, Edward Hudson. The building is Grade II* listed, listing number 1234320.
