Description
A view of the corner of Carnaby Street and Ganton Street, Soho. 21-24 Carnaby Street. Grade II listed, listing number for 21: 1066325; for number 22: 1357274; for number 23: 1292439 and for number 24: 1066326. On the right of the photograph are the terraced buildings at 2-10 Ganton Street. Businesses occupying the buildings in Carnaby Street include the corner shoe shop Ravel at number 21 with large display windows. A sign at number 22 is saying Kleptomania in swirly lettering. Donis Boutique at numbers 23 and 24 is selling menswear. Above the shop are large letters sticking out spelling Donis and also a flagpole with a rolled-up Union Jack flag. By number 22 is a lamppost. Other shop fronts are visible in Ganton Street. Pedestrians can be seen walking along the street. The street was pedestrianised in 1973 and pavements removed.
