A view of the front elevation of a grand end-terrace house at 29 Chesham Place, Belgravia. The house has four storeys over a basement and is three windows wide. The front door is under a porch on Doric columns and with a frieze decorated with triglyphs and dentils. Part of Chesham House at 30-31 Chesham Place can be seen at the left. Dating from the early to mid-19th century, numbers 29-37 Chesham Place were Grade II listed in 1970, listing number 1066264. Chesham House housed the Russian embassy from 1853 until the formation of the Soviet Union in May 1927.
