Description
View of shops on east side of Avery Row, Mayfair, looking north-west from Lancashire Court. The Mayfair Snack Bar, at number 4, was originally a mid-eighteenth century house, converted into a shop in the mid-nineteenth century, as were numbers 5-10. All are Grade II listed. Pedestrians are visible, along with a hanging sign for Jackson and Son Riding and Boots on number 4, a licensed betting office sign over number 5, and the words 'George Smith Avery Row' painted on the front of number 6. Listing numbers: 1217832 (number 4), 1066503 (number 5), 1217836 (number 6), 1066504 (numbers 7-10).
