Description
View of the church organ in the Chapel Royal of St Peter Ad Vincula, Tower of London, Tower Hill. The original organ case dates from 1699 and has fine carvings by the Baroque Dutch sculptor Grinling Gibbons. The organ was moved from the Banqueting House, Whitehall, to the Tower in 1890 and underwent a series of rebuilds and enlargements over the following century with a new instrument by Fernand Letourneau being installed in 1999. The Chapel is Grade I listed, listing number 1357540.
