View of main entrance of the Cooperative Wholesale Society at 1 Prescot Street, Whitechapel. Building in Art Deco style opened in 1932 and designed by L.G. Elkins, featuring a bas relief of human figures and patterned brickwork and steps flanked by lanterns. The building has since been converted into apartments. Building and attached wall and railings are Grade II listed; listing number 1065738.
