Description
General view of Beaumont Square, Stepney, looking through the trees and fence of Beaumont Square Gardens, towards the Beaumont Court Care Home and a block of flats. Beaumont Square was laid out as part of Beaumont Estate in the 1840s. The once private central garden was leased by the LCC in the late nineteenth century and opened to the public.
