Description
View of 72-75 Blackfriars Road, Bankside. The Ring public house, owned by Ind Coope and advertising Skol, is at 72 Blackfriars Road, at the junction with The Cut. Named after the historic boxing venue that stood opposite, it is still open and has lots of boxing memorabilia on the walls. J. Hoare & Son, builders' contractors established in 1839, is at 74. Number 74 was Grade II listed in 1972, listing number 1376589. The gateway and railings in front of number 74 were Grade II listed in 1972, listing number 1376590.
