Description
3 Southwark Street, Borough, Southwark. Front elevation of a curved corner warehouse built in 1864-1865. Italianate in style with four storeys and basement and occupied by W. Rowlandson and Company, paper merchants. This was one of the earliest buildings to be constructed on Southwark Street which was laid out in 1864 by the Metropolitan Board of Works to form a link between London Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge. Grade II listed; listing number 1385922.
