View of front elevations of 26-30 Newington Crescent (south side), Walworth. The crescent was built in 1834-35, and the terraced houses have basements, iron railings and steps to front doors. There is an entrance between numbers 28 and 29 leading to Crescent Cottages. Newington Crescent was demolished at some point in the mid-twentieth century, and became the site of Newington Estate, a Southwark Council social housing development which is still extant in 2021.
