Description
A view of the front elevations of substantial Victorian houses at 180-198 (even) Queensbridge Road, at the corner of Brownlow Road in London Fields. Number 188 is missing, perhaps because of wartime damage, but was later rebuilt to match the other house in the pair. The pairs of semi-detached houses have two storeys over a basement. A number of mature trees can be seen. Number 180 nearest the camera is the premises of Brownlow Metals, a scrap dealer, which has a sign with current purchase prices chalked up. The houses have deep front gardens with picket fences to the pavement edge. The houses still exist.
