Description
View of front elevations of Grade II listed four-storey terraced houses at 21-23 Balcombe Street, Marylebone. Built c1815-20 by the Portman Estate. With iron balconies on first floor and railings outside. The Portland Arms public house is on the corner with Taunton Mews. The pub was rebuilt after World War II due to bomb damage in 1940. The pub was renamed the Hobgoblin and by 2020 was called the Sir John Balcombe. Table and chairs on pavement outside. Parked cars.
