View of front elevations of Grade II listed terraced shops and buildings at 46-49 Harrowby Street, Marylebone, looking towards Edgware Road. Number 47 has iron balconies at first-storey windows. Businesses include a Dental Surgery at number 48 adjacent to the passageway to Cato Street. Number 47 is an Antique Shop with canvas awning and prints in the window, displaying salvage and reclamation items on pavement, including old signage from Chef & Brewer and Levy & Franks Ltd, and bust of woman. H. Etting Electro Plate Manufacturer is next door. Harrowby Street is named after Dudley Ryder, 1st Earl of Harrowby (1762-1847), politician associated with the nearby Cato Street conspiracy, in which he would have been killed had it succeeded.
