A number of cars are parked. The buildings on both sides of this section of Chiltern Street are known as Wendover Court, formerly Wendover Buildings. Constructed between 1890 and 1900 by the Artizans, Labourers and General Dwellings Company as flats for the working classes, an early form of social housing. Originally built without bathrooms to keep rents low, the apartments were modified in the 1960s and are now privately owned.
