Description
Wooden staircase with carved balusters at Temple House, 7 Church Gate, Fulham. A Grecian urn stands on a tall stone pedestal next to the staircase, and a classical style bust and vase sit on the landing. The wall of the staircase is lined with framed prints of eighteenth-century scenes and portraits. Temple House and its grounds no longer exist; Steeple Close, a 1960s residential development designed by J.J. de Segrais is now on the site.
