View of front elevations and roof of 17-17a Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green, looking north-east. Monk & Brown occupy numbers 17-19 trading as a Glass Merchants Bevellers and Silverers as sign written on the front elevation. The house numbering was altered with the demolition of number 15 shown by the rough brick coursework, snots and roofline exposed on party wall of number 17 seen here. Since the demolition of the original house at number 15 this numbering has been transferred to what was number 17. Nowadays number 15 is Grade II listed, listing number 1241403. Numbers 17-19 are also Grade II listed, listing number 1065101. The neighbouring property to the left (the brick facade) is part of York Hall Grade II listed, list entry 1412973, one of the most iconic venues in British boxing which was partially built on the plot of number 15. These buildings still exist.
