Hogarth House at numbers 32-34 Paradise Road, also known at times as Suffield House and sometimes existing as two distinct properties, is best known as the home of Leonard and Virginia Woolf between 1915 and 1924, during which time they founded the Hogarth Press and hand produced sixteen of the Press's original publications. An English Heritage Blue Plaque was erected in 1976 in commemoration. The building is mid-eighteenth century and was Grade II listed in 1968, listing number 1357753. It is believed to be in use today as a private dwelling following substantial interior refurbishment. This view is believed to show an unfurnished bathroom on the first floor with an non-pedestalled 1960s washbasin and a bath covered by some form of hinged utility board. A part-glazed partition leads to a room with a boarded fireplace in the corner.
