View of detached Victorian house at number 30 on the north side of The Avenue, Kew. Formerly St Luke's Vicarage, it is believed to be of similar age to St Luke's Church, out of view to the left of picture, which was built in 1888. Listed locally in 2004 as a Building of Townscape Merit, as was St Luke's Church in 1983, they are located in the Kew Gardens conservation Area of Richmond upon Thames. This oblique view looks eastwards showing the house at number 28 beyond which, like many of the surrounding properties, is of similar age and is also listed locally.
