Front elevation of a pair of two-storey, early nineteenth century, semi-detached houses at 75-76 The Lynch, Uxbridge with adjoining garage and workshop. The adjoining single-storey garage displays a sign "H. Rose for Used Cars" with a further sign, "The Lynch Garage, W. Barrett" visible above a closed door. Two large white garage doors are open revealing the interior of the garage with two cars within. A partial view of Langston's ironmongers' shop is visible to the left of the photo, with a telephone box nearby. There is a large three-storey building to the rear of the ironmongers. There are two cars parked in front of the garage: a Mini and a Wolseley 1500. A third car, a Ford Thames 300E is visible to the left. The buildings were demolished in the late 1960s and replaced with modern housing. This section of The Lynch has since been incorporated into Lawn Road.
