Description
View of Victoria Embankment, Westminster, towards Blackfriars Bridge, taken from Waterloo Bridge with Somerset House partially seen on the left and St Paul's Cathedral very indistinctly in the distance. The roofs below the bridge on the left are the River Police Station, now the RNLI Tower Lifeboat Station and rowing boats are moored near it. Further along Temple Pier can be seen. The full effect of the 'Dolphin' lamp standards can be seen along the bank.
