Description
A view of Cleveland Way, Stepney, looking north from Mile End Road. On the left at 67 Mile End Road is a commercial building, three-storey with a round window in a middle gable. This used to be a public house. Windows are surrounded by quoins and there is a shop called Finemark Textiles with large windows. On the opposite side is another commercial building with shutters at ground-floor level and large Doric columns at second and third floors; this is in 2020 occupied by a Tesco Express shop. Other commercial and residential buildings can be seen in the background. Cars and vans are parked on the right side of the road.
