Description
A view of the front elevations of terraced houses, many of which are hotels, at 15-25 Argyle Square, King's Cross. Hotels include the Waverley House at number 15, Queen's at number 16, Tyne Hotel at number 17, the Langley, the Elmwood, the Ferndale and the Thackeray. In the distance is the Sandfield housing block. A man stands at the doorway of the Elmwood Hotel. Many cars and vans are parked along the street. Built in 1840-49, numbers 7-25 Argyle Square were Grade II listed in 1974, listing number 1246999.
