A view of rear elevation of the upper storeys of All Saints School and Church House, 84 Margaret Street, Fitzrovia. This was formerly Parish School and Church House, built in 1868-70 by architect William Butterfield. The school completed the seminal group of buildings in Margaret Street, designed by Butterfield. These created a tough urban architecture of brick, with polychrome diaper decoration, and stone banding. The building became the London Fo Guang Shan Temple in 1992. It is a Buddhist temple, a monastery, a venue for cultural events, meditation and devotional activities. This property is Grade II* listed, listing number 1273611.
